Tomato MAGYCO F1 (ex 112SA604): Open day in Sicily

On 27th of April, at the farm Conforto in Ragusa area, S.A.I.S. dedicated one day to the cultivation of the new oval-elongated tomato, MAGYCO F1 (ex 112SA604), with intermediate resistante toTYLCV (Tomato Yeallow Leaf Curl Begomovirus).

The cultivation of 1500 mq of greenhouse, transplantED on 22nd December, confirm what MAGYCO F1 has showed in the last season: high versatility of plant,guaranteed by strong roots, high vigor, good yield and excellent fruit quality as well.

Tomato 112SA604, today MAGYCO F1, has been launched to support our tomato TORRANO with variety of intermediate resistance to TYLCV; critical point for South Mediterranean countries.

According to SAIS aims, MAGYCO F1, as Torrano, maintains high quality standard of fruits with regular elongated shape, bright and dark green colour, full and uniform red at ripening that allow both harvest at turning stage and full ripening.

MAGYCO F1 has very strong and fertile plant. The fruit is regular in shape, medium-big size, dark and bright green colour, full red at ripening. excellent firmness of the pulp.
