SAIS AND NIA SEEDS: AGREEMENT FOR THE DISTRIBUTION OF HERB SEEDS IN KENYA AND EAST AFRICA
The consolidated positioning of Kenya as a player in the production of aromatic herbs for the domestic market and for export to the UK and Europe has led SAIS and NIA SEEDS to define an agreement for the distribution of aromatic herb seeds among producers, nurseries, agroshops and herb exporters in Kenya and East Africa.
Promotion will be made through technical assistance and communication via social media through a complex network made up of stake holder producers, nurseries, agroshops, exporters, etc.
SAIS offers years of research and production of the main species of aromatic herbs, such as basil, chives, dill, coriander, tarragon, parsley, mint, sage, thyme, etc.
NIA SEEDS offers its knowledge of the main players, commercial experience, technical skills and innovative ideas for product promotion.
“We are certain that the quality of SAIS seeds and the innovative varieties can contribute to bringing added value to the aromatic herbs produced in Kenya,” say Roy Thomas and Macao, partners
of NIA SEEDS.
