TRAVEL DIARY: OUR RECENT TRIP TO CENTRAL ASIA JOURNEY TO UZBEKISTAN , TAJIKISTAN AND KYRGYZSTAN

Khujand – Tajikistan –

We are pleased to share with you highlights from our recent trip across Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan, where we connected with our valued vegetable seed distributors.

This region, including Kazakistan and Turkmenistan, holds significant potential in horticulture due to its rich agro-biodiversity and strategic location.

Horticulture offers a path to higher farmer incomes, job opportunities and export revenue, making it a key component of rural economic strategy.

The region is strategically positioned to supply large, growing markets, primarily Russia and China. Demand in these neighboring countries for varied, high-quality and fresh products is a powerful incentive for expansion.

The hospitality we received across all the three countries we visited was exceptional, reflecting the strong partnerships we are building thanks to the positive  market acceptance of our products.

In Uzbekistan, it became necessary for our company to secure the trademark  “SAIS IL BUON SEME “ to protect ourselves from instances of counterfeiting.

LLC BAKTI UMED – Tajikistan

There is a growing request of Sais varieties in this area, including Kazakistan, in particular of the SAIS Au Producer watermelon , which has generated excellent feedback pulling along other equally successful products such as pumpkins  , carrots, radishes, beets, dill  etc .

Visiting the vegetable markets was un unforgettable experience.

Overall, the meetings with distributors were very useful for gathering information regarding other required vegetable features, tastes and shapes updating them on Sais varietal innovations and sharing strategies.

We found our distributors highly organized and professional, leading our expectations for growth mainly on hybrid seeds.

CHAGILGHAN – Kyrghyzstan

Thanks to the strong structure of Chagilghan, Sais distributor in Kyrghyzstan and the positive performance of our products, the sales potential in Central Asia , is undeniably high .

Lastly, during our travel we had the chance to enjoy some free time and take advantage of visiting cultural attractions and monuments.

A special thank you to SAIS distributors who offered us a great  welcome and created the conditions for a pleasant and useful journey.
