TOMATO PITAGORA IN AZERBAIJAN PERFORMS NOT LESS THAN THE REFERENCE VARIETIS

“The Sais tomato varieties,” says Mr. Abbasov, “all demonstrate good adaptability to the cultivation conditions in Azerbaijan, with cultivation cycles from January/February until summer. In particular, Pitagora is confirmed as a beaf variety of large size, globular in shape, consistent, without shoulder, with intense color when ripe and good flavour. The plant stands out for its vigor, robustness and health. The close internodes ensure that the plant produces many branches, ensuring high production with a high quality standards.
The variety is intended for export to Russia and it is suitable for the use of hormones and the application of gibberellins which lend the fruit that ‘pointed’ appearance particularly appreciated by the destination market.”
