A DELEGATION FROM THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC VISITS SAIS TO CREATE NEW ALLIANCES

On May 7th, 2024, a delegation composed by  the Deputy Ministers of Agriculture, Eng. Miriam Estela Guzmán, Agricultural Development and Eng. Rafael Ortiz Quesada, Researcher of the Ministry of Agriculture and Head of Delegation, plus representatives of the Central Bank and the Ministry, accompanied by Mrs Lina Valeza, responsible for the Profit Seeds brand for the Dominican Republic have paid a visit at  Sais headquarters.

Sais has displayed research and varietal creation activities, the seed processing and the  internal laboratory assessing germination and purity analysis.

During the meeting, topics such as the “women farmers” project engaged in the production of high quality vegetables for the Dominican HoReCa segment were touched upon. At the end of the meeting, the President of Sais Dr Luigi Santini awarded the Deputy Ministers a plaque of honour
